The Evil Within 2 looks like it will live up to its spooky, surrealist roots based on the latest gameplay trailer for the upcoming horror game.
First revealed at E3 in June, this first real look at The Evil Within‘s sequel digs a bit further into what to expect in the game, including some action-packed fights against horrible abominations and romps through distorted landscapes. All of which appears to stem form the main character’s guilt about the fate of his daughter, possibly heightened by some sort of nerve agent used by the game’s villain.
The Evil Within 2 is scheduled to release Oct. 13 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
